Plans and quota
Limits of each MCPTube plan: calls per day, resolution, length, AI transcription and API keys, plus which calls count toward the daily quota (resets 0h UTC).

The anonymous plan is /mcp without logging in, with the quota counted per IP; when you need more, your client opens the MCPTube login. Pro costs $7.99 a month or $79.99 a year (R$29.90 or R$299 in Brazil). See the pricing table.
What counts toward the quota
- The quota is per account: the OAuth login and all of the account’s keys share the same limit.
- The daily quota resets at midnight UTC.
- Only videos that exist count. Invalid URLs, playlists and missing, private or unavailable videos are refunded.
- Plan refusals after the video is found do count: a video longer than your limit or AI transcription outside Pro.
- Requests above your plan’s resolution are downgraded, with a
planNote, and count as usual. - If YouTube refuses the server, the call doesn’t count toward your quota. The server switches IPs and retries on its own.
- Long downloads wait in a short queue on the server instead of failing.
AI transcription on Pro
When a video has no captions, Pro transcribes the audio with AI. The limit is 30 hours of audio a month, counted by video length, and it resets on the 1st (UTC). Transcripts from YouTube captions don’t count toward this limit.
Payment
Card, Link, Apple Pay or Google Pay through Stripe, monthly or yearly, with automatic renewal. Cancel anytime in the dashboard; Pro lasts until the end of the period you paid for. The same subscription covers MCP and the REST API.
